Join Gary Eckhart for a 3-part workshop series at the Bryan Memorial Gallery, Jeffersonville, VT bryan memorial Gallerylocation, designed to expand your watercolor skills and techniques.
In this workshop, students will practice deconstructing reference materials to create fresh, exciting pictorial compositions. Students will work with new and vibrant color palettes that better express the mood and atmosphere of your compositions. We’ll also explore color in greater detail, experimenting with color harmony, the play of color temperature and the manipulation of values to create a more cohesive and dynamic finished painting.
Participants are responsible for their own art materials and their own meals and accommodations.
Artists at any stage of their development are welcome. However, the participating artist should have an understanding of and be comfortable with the watercolor medium.
