Perhaps you are a novice who has always viewed painting with watercolors as a venture you would like to pursue, or you are a more experienced watercolor artist wanting to take your work to a higher level of excitement. Here is your opportunity to fulfill your wishes. Award-winning artist, Gary Eckhart, offers workshops tailored to your personal needs.
Private Workshops
Private workshops can be designed to meet your personal goals. The two-hour sessions cover materials, color mixing, brush handling, composition and various painting techniques.
$75 per session (added time at a reduced $30 per hour).
One additional person of similar ability can be added for a combined (2 person) fee of $140 per session (added time at a reduced rate of $40 per hour).
Extended Individualized Program
This is an individualized program designed to meet your personal goals and long-term development. It takes place over an extended period of a few weeks or a few months and includes:
- An in-person evaluation of your work or goals to determine the direction of your study. In the case of a beginning student, the time will be devoted to materials preparation.
- A written study plan
- 4 three-hour painting sessions
- 4 online critiques or question and answer sessions
- Printed material based on session instruction for your future reference.
A fee of $600.
One additional person of similar ability can be added for a combined (2 person) fee of $1100. Payment can be made in two installments.
Group Workshops
One- and two-day workshops designed to present specific topics are in the making and will be announced as plans are completed. These workshops of three or more people are available for students of all abilities above the beginner/novice level. Specific workshops can be designed for groups of three or more students by contacting Moosewalk Studios directly. Fees will vary by workshop.
